Mahalir Maruthuvam
Female urogenital disorders are concentrated by this Department. Daily an average number of patients are treated for uterine disorders like Amenorrhoea, Menorrhagia, Dysmenorrhoea, Leucorrhoea, Endometriosis, Cervicitis, Genital prolapse and Thyroid dysfunctions.
Special medicines based on the siddha manuscripts and texts prepared in our own college pharmacy are used for the treatment of these Diseases. External Therapies like Patti Kattal for Genital prolapse,Vaginal douches for Menorrhagia are applied for better cure and speedy recovery.
